Thanksgiving

is coming soon.
We have some wonderful items in the store to make your Thanksgiving Cards beautiful. Felt leaves, Maple & Oak leaf brads in 5 colours and rich, saturated cardstocks. But today I want to share with you some simple cards which are made on your computer. I found these sweet little vintage postcards and knew I had to share. After using cardstock, October Afternoon - Weather Vane ~ New Pencils, Sweater Weather, Pink Paislee - Fascinating~Bewitching, Captivating~Stunning and a variety of ribbons, brads and clips 5 cards appeared.

I hope you like them. I have included a PDF file of the vintage postcards. It is a google doc. so it may take a min to appear clear.

Online Galleries

Our CUSTOMER GALLERY is now up and running.
I have a few more to projects to add this week and can't wait to see what you great scrappers & cardmakers email me for this gallery.  Please note that these are not only projects up in the store but those that have been created and shared with us by our customers. If you have personal online galleries and would like to share from those galleries (ie. Two Peas in A Bucket, Scrapbook.com or Splitcoast Stampers) please email me a link to the project you would like to share. I would love to get so many enteries that we have to create different galleries for each kind of project.  Don't forget that you can leave comments on the projects you like. Just follow the directions at the bottom of this post.  It also contains instructions for emailing your images to us.

Every month we create a limited number of Brown Bag Surprise Kits for the 1st Business day of the month. Those who pick up the kit for $5.00 can participate in our monthly contest. All they have to do is use a piece of everything in the bag, create a layout or project with the items and bring it back to us by the end of the month. We put them on display in the store for 1 month. At the end of the month a WINNER is randomly drawn to win a $10 gift pack. This month let’s see how many items can be made with the one kit.
This month we have an extra special contest starting. Each entry returned for the brown bag surprise kit is eligible to win the $10 but what about those of you who are not able to get you kit back on time or were not lucky enough to get in time to pick up your kit. This is how you can win a prize too.
We would love to here what you think and we want you to leave us some comments. Beginner Basics Class - Simply Solids

Starting the last week of September ~ we will be offering a series of BEGINNER classes to teach anyone who would like to learn the basics of this fun hobby. In this 4 class course you will learn many tips and simple techniques for preserving your memories, creating pages and albums, working with sketches and using some of the unique tools of the trade. Come on out and create five coordinating everyday cards using Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock. We will explore dry embossing using a variety of texture plates and learn how to distress the edges to reveal the colour core.
