Kakabeka Falls

Hands up...  who is sick of Winter yet?
Jenny doesn't look like she is in this layout with photos from Kakabeka Falls, ON.
Winter scenery is a beautiful thing to photograph and I love how Jenny has made me feel all toasty inside with the "Warm & Cozy" Collection from Carta Bella. A simple design that makes a great page for a wonderful memory. Thanks for the great page.

2015 Promises

This Year I will...
How have you been doing on your New Year's Promises?  Did you make any crafting related resolutions?
Pat Betmanis documented her 2015 Resolutions on this fun page from Simple Stories - Life Documented Collection. It is a really good example on how you can make scrapbook pages without a featured photo. Just highlighting the journaling is a fantastic idea. Thank Pat!

This will be the last Design Team Submission for Pat - We thank her for all her hard work and look forward to seeing the items that she creates in the future.

Glittery Glam

My Tree is up and decorated and Janet's is all decked out too! Are you a traditional purest for you Christmas trees or are you like Janet and think out of the box?
Janet loves to change up her tree and this year it is all glitter, mirrors, butterflies & sparkle in pale pink, silver & white on a black tree with a Silver top hat. And her Christmas Card MATCHES.
Here is her layout for her trees both for last year and this year and this years Christmas card.
Great Job Janet!!!  Soooo Sparkly!

Christmas Kisses

Our pets love the holidays too. Extra treats, pretty lights and ornaments to chase and lots of snow (or mud) to get into mischief. How do you document your pets at Christmas? Do you catch them staring at the lights or opening their little gifts?
Our Designer Melanie Faber has created an 8.5"x11" layout to celebrate Miss Macy and her Christmas Kisses. She used Kraft Core Cardstock and papers from Echo Park Reflections Christmas. She stitched with her sweing machine, distressed the edges and added some Snowflake Brads and stamped journaling make this a simple but elegant page. Thanks Mel!

Same but Different

Do all your Christmas cards have to look alike?
They can and there is nothing wrong with that but what about switching the background up just a bit. Janet made us a set of 4 cards and she used all the same product but she changed the texture of the cardstock in the background and the little bingo cards to make each one unique. Embossing folders are an easy way to do this. She sanded the top of the embossed paper to highlight the texture resulting in 4 beautiful cards. Thanks Janet - Beautiful Job!

Christmas 1949

Even photos that were taken in 1949 can be highlighted with current product. This layout by Pat Betmanis uses the Simple Stories collection ~ December Documented and it worked perfectly. She reprinted the photos, which is a great idea when using old photos and made the colour (black & white) all the same. Simple layering and stickers are used and that's it. She added a title and it's complete. Awesome job Pat!

Quick Christmas Cards

Do you have to make a bunch of cards in a hurry? Pick up one of the Echo Park Reflections Christmas paper ~ "Peace Joy Love", cardstock, a simple sentiment stamp and search your scrappy stash for ribbon and embellishment and create some quick cards.
Here are some that Janet MacAloney put together for us. Great Job ~ Thanks
